ABOUT ROADWAYS TUTORING STUDIO:

We provide specialized, one-on-one instruction in reading, writing, and math.

Our program is designed for learners with dyslexia, learning disabilities, or persistent difficulties in reading or math — as well as students who simply need a more individualized approach than the regular classroom can provide.

How Roadways Tutoring Works

  • Every child receives individualized teaching based on their exact skill level. Lessons move at the student’s pace, allowing for success and confidence-building at every step.

  • We use proven, research-based methods — taught clearly and patiently — to support learners who need a different approach. All instruction is explicit, structured, and sequential, with a focus on phonological awareness, phonics, decoding, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, writing, and comprehension.

  • We don’t take a “wait and see” approach. Our instructors regularly assess reading, spelling, and writing skills and adjust instruction and ensure meaningful progress.

  • Our instructors receive specialized training in structured literacy methods, and strategies for supporting dyslexic and diverse learners. They understand how to break skills into manageable steps while keeping lessons engaging and encouraging.

  • We build trust first. Many of our learners arrive feeling discouraged; our tutors provide warmth, patience, and genuine understanding. As confidence grows, skill development often accelerates.

  • Tutoring is offered throughout the school day, after school, evenings, and weekends, with optional online sessions for families who live outside Saskatoon or cannot easily travel to our studio.

Online sessions follow the same structured, individualized approach as in-person tutoring.

  • We maintain open communication with caregivers, offering updates, strategies, and encouragement. Families often tell us that they finally feel understood and supported, and less alone after connecting with our team.

Is Tutoring Right for Your Child?

Roadways tutoring is often a good fit for children who:

  • May have dyslexia, ADHD, or other learning differences — diagnosed or suspected

  • Struggle with reading, spelling, writing, or math

  • Have working memory or processing-speed challenges related to literacy

  • Have lost confidence or experience anxiety or frustration due to repeated academic struggles

Whether a child needs short-term skill reinforcement or long-term specialized intervention, our program adapts to meet them exactly where they are.
